Packages for individual artists, bands and labels starting at $250/week. All packages include a detailed weekly report.

What we do:

We review your music, look at your current following and popularity, reach, live performances, number of original songs in your play list, current level of exposure in both traditional and new technology venues, press, radio and on the web, longevity and other factors.

We then work with you to bring every one of those aspects and factors to a level where we feel you can be presented to a record label for a possible recording and / or distribution deal.

Not all applicants accepted. We work with quality acts that we determine to have a chance at succeeding.

“Hit Play” Records, created by Gold record producer and major recording artist Phil Garland has joined forces with RED Music, a Division of Sony/BMG Music.  This  unites the powerful and proven distribution, artist promotion and development strengths of RED Music with the production, performance  vision and talents of Hit Play.

“Hit Play Records will sign extremely talented artists and work closely with them to develop long-term, sustainable careers”, states Hit Play CEO Phil Garland.  “We will do this by working with artists to develop their sound and their audience.  RED Music will add the expertise required in marketing and promotion that will assist in the successful development of Hit Play artists”, he added.

RED Music/Sony/BMG has been acclaimed for demonstrating a solid understanding of digital music distribution.  RED Music can position, promote and place a new artist’s songs worldwide.  “It was the combination of unique marketing, distribution and reputation that attracted Hit Play to RED Music; and the quality of music and dedication to the development of great artists that attracted RED Music to Hit Play”, Garland notes.

The relationship between these organizations also allows Hit Play to develop new artists without the financial pressure for immediate results that a larger label would demand.  “It’s more like the old ‘three record deals’ that the records companies used to give out so that artists could develop their sound, their style and more importantly their audience”, concludes Garland.

Hit Play is working with the most talented musicians, writers and engineers in the industry.  The label has signed contemporary vocalist Elisa Girlando to a record deal and is looking forward to her first release this Spring. Future releases will include the final recordings of legendary guitarist Larry Debari and the talented singer/songwriter Amanda Carl.
